Clay County -- Added sidewalks in various locations around schools including on Mederia Drive from Blairmore Boulevard to Edson Drive; on Everett Avenue (CR 220) from State Road 21 (Blanding Boulevard) to Scenic Drive; and on Doctor’s Lake Drive (CR 224A) from Woodveil Lane to Admirals Walk Drive East, for a total of 2.1 miles. The Everett Avenue sidewalk included a timber bridge. Haynes & Son, Inc., of McAlpin began Feb. 2, 2004 and finished Jan. 21, 2005 at a cost of $482,395. (2115762)

River Crossing – Corridor study to determine the feasibility of connecting Branan Field - Chaffee Road (State Road 23) to the proposed I-95/State Road 9B interchange that would cross the St. Johns River at either the Shands Bridge or slightly north of Popo Point began in December 2002 and is expected to take two years to complete.
